Muscatel Shelves

Reclaimed from a twenty-foot muscatel wine fermentation barrel, these redwood shelves display a 57 year old patina.
When the boards were being disassembled from the Wisconsin Liquor Warehouse in 1967, crowbars were used to pull the dowel joinery apart.
These marks, along with nail holes and original wine soaked dowels add to the preservation and history behind each piece.
(2009) Redwood, salvage steel pipe fittings.
